The Puffer

Increasing in Size
Never the prize
Staying away is always wise.

Under rock
Puff --> Pins
The Puffer always wins

----------------------
Puffer fish, what can I say?  I wasn't really trying with this poem

Fish and Bridge

Passing Once not to return
Yet brothers will see for many years
Sometimes quiet and sometimes loud

Right and Left, flowers abound.
Green grass blocks
Moist, brown, ground

Trickling and bubbling
World to see at my leisure
But once pass the bridge, will not return

Deeper waters are in my future
When?
No matter, present brings all I need
------------------------
Really just tried to abstractly describe the surroundings a fish would see in the rivers near my home.  Its beautiful in the summer but eventually, many of the fish will leave the river and spend the rest their lives in a damn or lake.... it is possible they'll get out of it in the river on the other side though.

Thinking of this beautiful scenery really calms and humbles me.

Shore Scuba

Sand on one
Sand on two
Down Abyss
Into Black

Time 2/3rd's
Kick Kick Kick
Round to Back
Return to Air
-----------------------------
I absolutely love Scuba Diving.  Shore diving is a lot of fun and you aren't constrained by where some divemaster wants you to go.

Ocean Explained

Walking through sound
far away, known yet unknowable.
closer:
fun
joy
friends
relaxation

Throw, skip, glide, dive
barrier and not
bringer of life

-----------------------
Poem's are fun because the let you explore those things that are dear to you yet difficult to explain why.

I love the ocean and all that is in it.  I find great joy in gathering at beach and enjoying all the recreation opportunities offered.  I'm explaining how it affects me.  How there are things (cultures & peoples) beyond it that I could know but never truly understand.
Last verse shows there are a lot of activities to do and that it would look like the Ocean blocks you from some areas of the world, yet it opens up so much more.

fade to Nemo

It doesn't Stop.
It can't stop.
My father and I won't stop
Whoosh Whoosh -- Whoosh SWish

Stripes at right and stripes at left
Walls come but walls can crumble

Back to the deep my family beckons.

------------------------------------
This fish poem is about Nemo.  It is fun to start exploring from different areas.  I enjoyed the part about the walls-- that can actually be inspiring on so many levels.

The non-rhythm of the "whooshing" fins is how this is about Finding Nemo.  It shows there is an odd deformity in one of his fins.

This actually didn't start out as being about Nemo. The "doesn't stop" beginning actually started as I was trying to relate fish to the Book Atlas Shrugged-- the working in that story is similar to how a fish is always swimming and how animals in general don't give up.

First Poem

Orange, Red, Yellow Hue
Top of Mount yet under Blue
------------
Quick poem, not a lot of significance about fish.  Obviously first line refers to the many colors of our underwater allies. :)

2nd line has quite a few meanings.  Top of mount refers to the huge canyons in the ocean and also in lakes like Baikal.  Also, its sad but many live fish are mounted on wall throughout the world. (I'd prefer to see them in a tank or underwater)
